Alyssa and Dylan Wedgewood Boulder Creek Wedding

When you are in elementary school, you dream about what being an adult will look like. It feels so far away at the time. Then before you know it, you blink and your childhood is just a distant memory. Sometimes, kids imagine what their wedding day will be like or who they will marry but they probably don’t imagine that one of their classmates to be the one the photographer this big day! When Alyssa reached out to me to be their wedding photographer, I was so excited to hear from her. We were classmates from elementary through high school and hadn’t talked in over 13 years! It brought me so much joy to see the love her and Dylan have for each other. I think our wedding day photo planning session was mostly spent laughing and telling stories!

Their wedding day couldn’t have been more perfect! The weather all week was freezing cold but on the 25th it warmed up to a gorgeous 60 degree day. The bride and group were focused on celebrating their love while I focused on documenting the day. Here is a little sneak peek!
